The Pike County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids on one 8-passenger Ford Van and one F-250 Ford Pickup as listed below.  Vehicles will be sold in present condition and can be seen at the Bus Shop at 317 Montgomery Street, Troy, Alabama.  Bids on each vehicle will be opened at the Pike County Board of Education central office at 101 W. Love Street, Troy, Alabama, on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 2:00 p.m.  All bid submittals must be in a sealed envelope marked "SEALED BID: VEHICLES".  A bid guarantee in the form of a $100.00 certified check must accompany the bid.  A minimum bid of $500.00 is set on each vehicle.  The board reserves the right to reject any bid.  Any vehicle purchased must be moved within three working days after notification of bid award.
